There is a sense of security or comfort for some when they know they are being protected through programs that stand the test of time. No one really wants to talk about insurance until something happens and for some, it is too late.
Having a serious conversation about the future is critical now, not later. In many conversations, I have had with people, I have learned a great deal about a person’s mindset. Their thought process will determine if they will be covered or not.
I have had the privilege of working with many different and interest clients who are not shy to share their viewpoints on why they choose to obtain insurance. Then I heard from people on the other side of the spectrum who indicated they don’t need it because nothing has happened all this time so they would take their changes as if they were playing the slot machines at a casino.
Insurance programs are all about transferring risk just in case. Depending on the type of insurance it is not about “if”, but a matter of when. There is one thing I know for sure. We all don’t live forever. Life comes with an expiration date that we are not privy too.
In my humble opinion, Insurance is an act of concern and or love. So make sure you give the gift of love this Christmas season.
